Traditional Pickled Cucumber Salad. This also has no added artificial ingredients. It consists of Fresh Cucumber, Sugar, Apple Cider Vinegar. It has a balanced sweet/acid taste, neither predominating. The sugar would be reduced compared to other pickled cucumber salads. The reduced sugar content is balanced and made up of the sweetness of the  Apple Cider Vinegar. This is the preferred taste level selected by my regular Farmers’ Market customers.

All essential minerals are provided by seaweeds. {The Healing Power of Minerals; Berger, 1997}. They often provide minerals normally absent from vegetables grown in freshwater or minerally depleted soils There are 18 measurable minerals recorded for seaweeds. In addition to the major ones of Iodine, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium and Iron, there are also trace minerals such as Selenium, Zinc, Cobalt, Manganese and Sulphur, essential as components of anti-oxidants and co-factors in the body’s biochemical reactions.
